PenCraft Award Adds to Literary Honors
How Rampage Killers Interpret Their Worlds by Dr. S. Lee Funk has received the PenCraft Award for Literary Excellence in Non-Fiction, adding to the book’s growing recognition for its exploration of how rampage killers understand themselves and the world around them.
The book was previously named a First Place Winner in the Crime category of the International Firebird Book Awards, recognizing Dr. Funk’s examination of the inner narratives, cognitive patterns, and social interpretations that shape the worldview of rampage killers.
It also earned National Finalist honors in the True Crime category of the American Legacy Book Awards, a competition recognizing outstanding titles published from 2010 to 2025.
